The Ghost Train by Arnold Ridley

The Trinity Church drama group, The (K)Naves, present this classic mystery as their fall production for 2007.

Tickets for the evening dinner theater performances: $17.00 ($10.00 for children under 12 and seniors)

Tickets for the matinee luncheon performance: $10.00 ($7.00 for children and seniors)

Choral Evensong

The Trinity Singers and Trinity Choristers will sing for a service of Choral Evensong featuring music of Lee Hoiby and Trinity’s Director of Music Ministry, Bert Landman.  Trinity’s outdoor labyrinth will be open for visitors from 4:30 - 5:00 p.m.

 

Alta, a Renaissance wind trio

Sunday, November 11

The Alta trio, whose members are Artists-in-Residence at Trinity Church, returns to Trinity on Sunday, November 11, at 4:00 p.m. for a concert entitled “Ancient Winds & Voices.”  The trio – Gwendolyn Winkel, Daniel Green and Peter Braunfield – will join with the Trinity Chamber Choir and Trinity Choristers to present a double choir motet by Samuel Scheidt, solo cantatas by Scarlatti, Bach, and Telemann, and polyphonic secular and sacred settings by Renaissance master Thomas Crecquillion. 

Tickets are $15.00, and may be purchased at the door 

 

The Connecticut Valley Chamber Orchestra

Sunday, November 18

3:00  p.m.

The Connecticut Valley Chamber Orchestra will open its season at Trinity Church, its performance home, with a program featuring the Telemann Viola Concerto in G and Bruch’s Romance in F for viola and strings, with Canadian violist Sharon Wei as the soloist for both pieces.  The program will include the Roman Carnival Overture by Berlioz, and Dvorak’s Symphony #9 in E Minor (“From the New World”).  Chris Hisey, Music Director for the CVCO, will conduct. 

Tickets will be available at the door for $15 ($12 for seniors and students)

Children under 12 admitted free of charge
