Statement of Purpose

We the people of Trinity Church seek to be a diverse, energetic, committed Christian community. We come together frequently from throughout greater Hartford to worship in the Anglican tradition, to learn, to grow, to celebrate, and to share in the Spirit. Thus renewed we go to do God's work wherever we find ourselves in God's world.

To continue moving toward our vision we are strongly committed to the following:

• Grow in our understanding of the Gospel and its impact on our lives,

• Stretch our understanding of Anglican worship and celebrate the diversity of that
  tradition in the diversity of this parish,

• Expand our understanding and deepen our commitment to good stewardship of all the resources entrusted to us,

• Use music and all the visual and performing arts to enrich our community's experience of the Spirit,

• Reach out to those who suffer in our parish family and in the larger community,

• Encourage full participation of our young people in the life and work of the parish,

• Spread the Good News and draw new members in to the Body of Christ.
